If you are interested in performing at the festival you are at the right page.

The 2009 Festival is almost completely programmed, but we are inviting artists to submit proposals and demos for next year’s festival.

Village India programming can be literally anything which has some cultural connection to the Indian sub-continent however tenuous that may seem!! So don’t worry if you are making a really crazy indojazzfunkclassicalexperimental fusion thing, it might work for us. Our main criteria are artistic quality, excellence and innovation. We are really interested in the artistic blends that are finding a voice here in the U.K. which draw on the unique and different cultures living in these islands.

Please send us your biographical information which can include written data, reviews, good photography, and quality audio and (ideally) video demos. Don’t forget links to websites such as myspace and youtube. If you can send packages of data electronically, this can also be helpful to us.

We will then submit your data to our artistic program panel for short listing.

*Remember the quality of your media pack helps us to make decisions about our programming at the festival.

Then deadline for the 2010 festival is 30th October 2009 so get your material in to us soon.
